This section shares a little of my history and some of my interests.
As a child, I spent time making things. I sketched and created drawings and paintings. My grandfather was a general contractor, and I often joined my father on construction sites. My goal in life was to be an architect. We moved to Las Vegas when I was nine, and in middle school, I developed an interest in photography.
I enrolled in a drafting class in high school to prepare for college. Our instructor, Mr Molina, suggested we enter the Southern Nevada Home Builders Association contest to design a single-family residence. All of the high schools in the area competed. To my surprise, I won the grand prize, which included a scholarship to study architecture. I went to study architecture at the University of Idaho, Moscow.

I discovered that architecture sparked my creativity, but it also led me to realize that I’m most passionate about seeing my ideas come to life more quickly. This insight helped me focus on pursuing a path where I could have a more immediate and hands-on impact on shaping outcomes. I developed my skills in graphic design and worked on publications, identity, marketing, and packaging in Los Angeles, New York, Washington, D.C., and San Francisco.

The internet revolutionized the world, opening up incredible opportunities. Inspired by this transformation, I returned to school to expand my knowledge. My interest in designing for new technologies led me to earn a BFA in Graphic Design New Media from California College of the Arts.
